Please also note that the practice is closed for training on the third Thursday of most months from 12.15pm until 5.00pm.
Dr Philip Kershaw, MB ChB, DFFP, CIPDC, MRCGP.
Qualified 1986, University of Manchester.
Dr Kershaw joined the practice in August 1993 and he is now our Senior Partner.
His special area of interests is diabetes.

Dr William Rogers, MB ChB, DRCOG, DFFP, DPCR, MRCGP. Qualified 1989, University of Manchester.
Dr Rogers joined the practice in March 1995.
His special areas of interest include cardiovascular disease, stroke disease and rheumatology.
Dr Matthew Johnson, MB ChB, DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP.
Qualified 1996, University of Manchester.
Dr Johnson joined the practice in August 2000.
His special areas of interest include gynaecology, family planning and sexual health. He is also the practice’s prescribing lead GP.
Dr Darren Aspinall, BMedSci, BMBS, MRCGP.
Qualified 1998, University of Nottingham.
Dr Aspinall joined the practice in March 2006.
He is the practice’s commissioning lead GP and is also the GP trainer.
Dr Ian Maddock, Bsc (Hons), MB ChB (Hons), DRCOG, MRCGP. Qualified 1995, University of Manchester.
Dr Maddock joined the practice in May 2002.
His special areas of interest are respiratory disease and paediatrics. He is also the practice’s Caldicott Guardian and IT lead GP.
Dr Zahra Youssef, MB ChB, MRCOphth, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFSRH. Qualified 1999, University of Manchester.
Dr Youssef joined the practice in October 2007.
Her special areas of interest are ophthalmology, gynaecology and family planning.
